Stop by the Obliteration Station! Find the art cart on the Lower level to pick up your materials. Young artists will learn about artist Kusama, her practice, and use polka-dots to obliterate their own work of art.

Do this at home! Can you paint a dot? Now, can you paint a million dots? Try this at-home art project. Create a painting inspired by Yayoi Kusama’s use of seemingly infinite dots. Create.

A large white canvas featuring two large circles, one purple and one brownish-green. Many other splotches of colors appear around the canvas.

Until we can gather for Storytime again, the Art Cart offers young artists (best for ages 6 and under) themed sets of materials. Each week’s Art Cart offers a fresh and fun theme featuring an artwork on view, an art making activity to do at the Museum, and kids projects to extend the fun at home! The Art Cart is free; no registration required. Every Wednesday, 10 am–12 pm

Stroller Parking is available on the Lower Level.
