Ven a un STORYTIME especial con el Ballet de Washington! Leeremos EL día en que descubres quién eres por Jacqueline Woodson y veremos cómo se abre el mundo y hace espacio para nosotros cuando compartimos quiénes realmente somos.

Join us for a special STORYTIME with the Washington Ballet! We’ll read The Day You Begin by Jacqueline Woodson and consider how the world “opens up and makes room for us” when we share who we truly are.

CUENTA-CUENTOS: STORYTIME in Spanish explores contemporary art through stories and movement.  Each week features a fresh and fun theme. Bring your littlest art lover for an introduction to an artist on view, interactive read aloud, and a hands-on activity. All audiences are welcome to join this Spanish-language program, led by a multilingual educator.

Nursing moms are welcome. Stroller parking is available in the Hirshhorn Lobby and Lower Level. Groups of 10 or more should contact mcgettigant@si.edu to reserve a program in advance. Please note: snacks are not allowed inside museum galleries, but you may eat outside on our Plaza, or in the ground floor lobby and cafe before or after the program.

This Program is part of the Washington Ballet’s Dance for All initiative which brings dance to every quadrant in Washington, DC through free performances, demonstrations, and dance classes.
