Don’t miss the new documentary by filmmaker Cristian Pirjol that offers a behind the scenes glimpse into the production process of Julian Rosefeldt’s iconic video work, Manifesto. Manifesto features two-time Academy Award winner Cate Blanchett performing thirteen distinct roles in vignettes that incorporate timeless manifestos from twentieth-century art movements. This short documentary offers insights into Roselfeldt’s thoughts and ideas for Manifesto through backstage interviews and behind-the-scenes recordings with Cate Blanchett.
Manifesto is on view in Manifesto: Art x Agency on the Museum’s second level.
Seating in Ring Auditorium will be first-come, first-served.
There will be two prior screenings at 5:30 and 6:30.
