Julia Kwon More Than A Body - Like Any Other No. 60 (The Blanket Statements You Use on Me and Every Other Yellow Women)

Join artist Julia Kwon for a glimpse into her interdisciplinary and collaborative practice. Exploring gender and identity, she creates traditional and hybrid Korean textiles that challenge preexisting notions of what it means to be Korean and feminine, as well as examining the complexities of constructing identity in our current global culture. She also investigates community and personal relationship-building through collaborative projects such as communal quilting, one-on-one portrait drawing, and shared local artist talks.

Dolcezza Coffee & Gelato will open at 8:45 AM.
