James Miille and Alex Mitow, co-founders of Superfine!: The Fair, want to make collecting fine art accessible for all. Join an early-morning coffee talk to hear how they have worked to bridge the growing gap between the art world and the real world by starting their own affordable art fair that has spread across four major US cities, most recently Washington, DC.  For five days, Superfine! will take over Union Market’s Dock 5 for a showcase of local and national art, an LGBT film festival, and more.

Dolcezza Coffee & Gelato will open at 8:45 am.

About Superfine!: The Fair

“Superfine! is the ultimate people’s fair—an active art economy for the ambitious artist carving out a bona fide presence as a serious player in the art market; for the innovative and adaptive gallery seeking an outlet for its own fresh perspective; and for the eager collector—whether brand new or long established—hungry to connect with artists directly in their element and support their work through a shared passion for great, inspired, contemporary art.”
