ABOUT THE HIRSHHORN NEW YORK GALA

In celebration of its 50th anniversary, the Hirshhorn will host its largest Gala to date at the Shed in New York City. The 2024 Gala will be a rare occasion in the art world on which artists come together to celebrate one another and their contributions to American society. The evening will include cocktails, dinner, a performance, and a memorable toast to 50 artist honorees for the 50th anniversary. The Museum will also present the first-ever Hirshhorn Leader in the Arts Award to internationally renowned architect, art collector, and arts patron Peter Marino.

2024 artist honorees will include many of the most recognizable and influential artists of our time, artists whose work has been central to the life and history of the Museum.

Gala attendees will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to celebrate the Hirshhorn’s 50th anniversary alongside the artist honorees, revered art-world professionals, and the Museum’s major supporters.

All proceeds will support the Museum’s mission to provide free access to art for almost 1 million visitors each year. Your attendance and support will help us continue to offer a diverse range of exhibitions and educational programs for the community.
