Think outside the (gift) box! Dive into artist Marcel Duchamp’s world and construct your own “readymade” to take home, learn and play chess with local chess teachers from Silver Knights Enrichment, and create a collaborative sculpture.

Kids and adults of all ages are welcome. Stroller parking is available in the Lobby and on the Lower Level of the Museum. This program is free. No reservations or tickets required.

MAKER MORNING is the Hirshhorn’s free series that invites kids of all ages to experience contemporary art through interactive hands-on making activities, held on the first Saturday of each month, 10 am1 pm.
