Celebrate rhythm, music, and movement at the Hirshhorn! Join us at MAKER MORNINGS: Pump it Up as we explore the exhibition Rafael Lozano-Hemmer: Pulse through hands-on making activities.

During the first four Saturdays in March, you and your young artists can:

  • Play in our sound space;
  • Experiment with a poly pulse beat machine;
  • Make your own instrument;
  • Groove to beats by local drumming group Harambee, performing every Saturday at noon.

Stroller Parking is available in the Lobby.

A special family-friendly ASL tour of Pulse will take place on Saturday, March 23 at 10 am. Interpreters will stay afterwards in the MAKER MORNINGS activity areas.
