You’ve been cranking up the Go-Go beats, dancing, singing, playing, and learning all summer-long. Now, join us for A Go-Go Herstory festival, a virtual student exhibition curated by ARTLAB’s teen summer interns.

You can explore this virtual reality exhibition space designed by the GENESIS Innovation Campus Team, and learn about the history and foundational role Black women play in the Go-Go music scene right from your computer or device. This experience is best experienced in groups of up to 20 people, so grab some friends and sign-up together for this one-of-a-kind virtual event.

This summer-long internship and online program series would not be possible without local artists, the contributions of GENESIS and Makers Lab, and the support of the Smithsonian American Women’s History Initiative
