Boo! Join us for an encounter with the headless sculpture Post-Balzac, by Judith Shea. We will read aloud The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything, by Linda D. Williams, and create our own ghostly sculptures. Costumes are encouraged, but please no large appendages or weapons.
STORYTIME explores contemporary art through stories and movement. Each week features a fresh and fun theme. Bring your littlest art lover for an introduction to an artist on view, interactive read aloud, and a hands-on activity.
Nursing moms are welcome. Stroller parking is available in the Hirshhorn Lobby and Lower Level. Groups of 10 or more should contact email@example.com to reserve a program in advance. Please note: snacks are not allowed inside museum galleries, but you may eat outside on our Plaza, or in the ground floor lobby and cafe before or after the program.
An ASL interpreter may be requested for this program with one week’s advance notice. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
