A child holding two paint brushes applies glue to an artwork, already covered with scraps of colorful tissue paper and black and white photographs, on the table in front of him

Add color to your summer this June at the Hirshhorn! Each Wednesday at Storytime, you’ll find new opportunities for your littlest artist to brighten our world. Explore art, tell vibrant stories, and make your own colorful creations.

This Week: Splatter and splash! Join us to learn about artist Jackson Pollock, who used his entire body to create large abstract paintings. We’ll gain inspiration from Pollock and replace our paintbrushes with unconventional materials such as sticks, marbles, and yarn.
