This exhibit included mixed-media installations by the Cuban-born, New York-based artist (1958-1996). Examples included carpetlike floor pieces of candy in shiny, colorful wrappers; strings of draped or piled festival lights and beads; and tall stacks of paper printed with gently provocative texts or pictures.
