This exhibition of 42 works by 14 painters and sculptors was held in conjunction with a symposium on 20th-century Canadian culture. Selected by critic Andrew Hudson, the field paintings, landscapes, semiabstract works, and wood sculptures were the work of Jack Bush, David Bolduc, Alex Cameron, Charles Gagon, K. M. Graham, Dorothy Knowles, Jean Paul Lemieux, Bruce O’Neil, Wm. Perehudoff, Alan Reynolds, Howard Simkins, Paul Sloggert, Paul Fournier, and Daniel Solomon.
