Jeff Wall

In Jeff Wall’s (b. 1946) first American retrospective, some 30 luminous, pictorial photo-narratives created by the Canadian artist since 1978 explored contemporary social issues. His works consist of large color transparencies in light boxes that use locations, sets, and actors to present almost documentary scenes rich with evocative suggestions.
