Elizabeth Prelinger, Keyser Family Professor of Art History at Georgetown University, discusses Display Stand with Madonnas in Out of the Ordinary. In addition to teaching a variety of subjects, such as German Expressionism and Weimar Culture, Romanticism, Abstraction, and the Symbolist movement, Prelinger has curated a number of exhibitions. These include Käthe Kollwitz (National Gallery of Art, 1992); After the Scream: The Late Paintings of Edvard Munch (High Museum, Atlanta, 2001) and Paul Gauguin. The Prints (Kunsthaus Zürich, 2012).
