Explore the works of Alexander Calder with a mini tour of Revolutions: Art from the Hirshhorn Collection, 1860–1960. Put your inspiration in motion with a make-your-own mobile art activity in the style of Calder. Join us back in the galleries for a second mini-tour and learn what British painter Flora Yukhnovich has in common with pop singer Doja Cat.

GIACOMETTI AND GELATO

Join us for an evening of mini tours in Revolutions: Art in the Hirshhorn Collection, 1860–1960 and make your own take-home: a sculpture in the spirit of artist Alberto Giacometti. Second floor galleries will be open between 6-8 pm; our lobby and plaza will be open between 6-9 pm. Bluejacket Brewery will be pouring beers made in southwest DC until their kegs are tapped. Dolcezza will be scooping gelato –your first cup is free– and selling cold drinks, beer, and wine all night.

Museum docents will lead guided mini tours in Revolutions. Drop by for one or both:
