Barbara Hepworth: The Hirshhorn Museum Collection

This special installation included 13 sculptures and one drawing by the renowned British artist Barbara Hepworth (1903-1975), a contemporary and colleague of Henry Moore. Included was the monumental bronze Figure for Landscape, usually displayed on the Hirshhorn’s Plaza, as well as several unique pieces in materials such as alabaster, mahogany, and slate, all executed between 1933 and 1963.
