A selection of works by Winslow Homer (1836–1910), drawn from the collection of the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum, was exhibited at the Hirshhorn to celebrate the reopening of the renovated Cooper Hewitt, then recently transferred to the Smithsonian, on October 7 in New York City.
