Public Programs
We bring Museum visitors together with artists, curators, and others—from writers to scientists—to explore the ideas, materials, trends, and social realities that shed light on how art is shaped, and shapes, our world. Learn more

ARTLAB+ is a free afterschool program at the Hirshhorn Museum where teens can socialize with their peers, learn to use digital media, and participate in workshops to develop professional-level skills. Learn more

The Museum provides a range of options for self-directed learning by the public. Learn more

Starting Monday, Sept. 30, the museum will open at Noon on Mondays.
Hours remain unchanged for Tues–Sun, opening at 10 AM and closing at 5:30 PM.
