Open Studio: Splatter!
June 28, 2025 | 10:00 am–2:00 pm

Dive into summer at the Hirshhorn, where we’re taking inspiration from the best of summer camp—Art School style! Join us every Saturday in June for Open Studio: Color Battle. Drop in and join a color “team,” then make your own colorful artwork inspired by artists such as Jackson Pollock, Morris Louis, and more. Explore color theory and experiment with color mixing to make something unique!
Splatter and splash! Take inspiration from artist Jackson Pollock and use splashes of color to create a collaborative artwork. Choose a color team, splatter on your canvas, and join the Color Battle.
Meet in the Art School on the Lower Level.
