Alberto Giacometti: 1901–1966

The exhibition surveyed the Swiss-born artist Alberto Giacometti’s (1901-1966) work from 1921 through 1965 in what was his first major US retrospective in 15 years. The 51 sculptures, 30 paintings, and 24 drawings on display demonstrated the artist’s versatility across Cubist, Surrealist, and Expressionist styles.
