STORYTIME+: Itsy Bitsy Spider Performance Art

Performance art moves! After viewing the live Woman in E performance by artist Ragnar Kjartansson, children will create their own Itsy Bitsy Spider performances through a read-aloud and story recreation. Meet in the lobby.

STORYTIME+ explores contemporary art through stories and movement. Museum staff will read aloud a book, introduce children to an artist in the collection, and lead a hands-on activity. Groups of 10 or more should contact mcgettigant@si.edu to reserve a storytime in advance. Nursing moms welcome. Stroller parking is available in the Hirshhorn lobby. Please note: snacks are not allowed inside the museum; please use our outside Plaza before or after the program.
