Directions

Included in this exhibition were 65 sculptures, paintings, site-oriented projects, and video pieces by 18 artists: George Duehn, Loren Madden, John van Alstine, Alan Kessler, Peter Saari, Jud Nelson, Robert Hudson, Kim MacConnel, Barbara Rossi, David Schirm, Eleanor Antin, Dottie Attie, Donald Evans, Steve Gianakos, Roland Reiss, Donna Dennis, Thomas Lanigan-Schmidt, and Kenneth Price. Its focus was fivefold, concentrating on Brute Sculpture, Imitations, Fictions, Eclectic Surfaces, and Shrines.
